John Marino Yoga MARINOWORK is therapeutic in intent, intuitive and spontaneous in application. It is comprised of numerous massage techniques and yogic principles that I have experienced, studied, practiced and perfected during a long period of healing begun in 1974 when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

My goal as both yoga teacher and massage therapist is to gently guide each individual student to greater range of motion and to move beyond thresholds where pain, limitation or disease is expressed. Yoga postures (asanas), both active and passive, and various bodywork manipulations become a medium in a process of self discovery that reeducates posture and movement. Often, conditions that are causing acute or chronic pain and discomfort, limited range of motion are reversed and ultimately eliminated.
